APNO member named to Medicaid Drug Utilization Boa

One of our members, Jennifer Passanise, has been named to
the Medicaid Drug Utilization Board by Governor Matt Blunt.
In this capacity, she will help determine which drugs are
covered by Medicaid. She is requesting input from anyone
on any medications you would like to see covered and why.
Jennifer says: "The next meeting is October 17th, 2007 at
10:00 am. If any of the APNO members would like to contact
me it is best by email. My address is jenn@entrapped.com.
I would prefer the members include some of their clinical
practice experiences with the drugs that they would like me
to review as well as any journals that they would like me
to read. That way I will have something to take with me to
the board. I have already had an interest in Chantix and
Coreg, but would love more information and their personal
insights on these drugs. We meet every quarter on the
third Wednesday of each month. Thanks again and please let

comments."
