Overview
This essential course focuses on the 2009 standards of medical care in diabetes from the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and highlights new information from the 2009 consensus statement from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the American College of Endocrinology (ACE). Designed to assist primary care providers in the management of type 2 diabetes, this course examines the rationale for tight glycemic control.
Target Audience
This CME activity is designed for primary care professionals—physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants—who treat patients with diabetes.
