The APNO
Education Committee is responsible for scheduling both the
monthly meetings and coordinating the annual educational conference.
The committee is chaired each year by the president-elect. The
committee chairperson is responsible for maintaining the organization's
affiliation with the Missouri Nurses Association to provide continuing
education credit to participants. Each program is given 1.2 CEU's.
APNO is approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing
by the Missouri Nurses Association which is accredited as an approver
of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses' Credentialing
Center's Commission on Accreditation. Visit the links provided

Scholarships
APNO offers financial aid to students in a graduate level advanced
practice program in Missouri. See the attached forms which include
a letter announcing the scholarship, application, and forms for
letters of support. Our first award will be announced at our fall
education conference in Branson, October 2002.
