Vacancy # B009693. Provide technical assistance to nursing facilities to help improve clinical care and practices for older people in long-term care facilities in Missouri. Responsible for some research data collection and providing statewide education to long-term care facility personnel about quality improvement, quality indicators, and the resident assessment instrument. Qualifications: Masters degree from an accredited School of Nursing, or an equivalent combination of education & experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be obtained. Experience in long-term care, specifically nursing homes. Knowledge of minimum data set and resident assessment instrument. A basic understanding of the QIs as defined by CHRSA and the use of QIs in identifying potential problems with care. Must have RN license in State of Missouri.
