Adena Health System is seeking a dynamic nurse leader to join their team. This two hospital non-profit system with 300 beds and gross revenue in excess of $500M is located just 45 miles south of Columbus, OH. Adena has crafted a strategic plan for significant growth and in September 2008 opened the PACCAR Medical Education Center which serves as the home of the Wright State Miami Valley College of Nursing and Health’s BSN program.
The Nursing Director, Inpatient will have responsibility for five units including three Medical/Surgical units, the Emergency Department and an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit.
The position will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and have direct supervisory experience over unit Nurse Managers and Assistant Managers. This newly created position will serve as a leader and mentor both within their respective departments and throughout the health system.
Ideal candidates will possess a BSN, with a preference for a Master’s degree in Nursing, Health, Business Administration or related field. Requirements also include a minimum of 3 years managerial experience in the assigned area, including experience managing several cost centers at once. The positions offer a competitive package including relocation.
